SL: Training pt4Egypt balled his fists and backed away, giving me room to move into his invisible arena. I stepped forward. All of my morals were being pushed back into nonexistence with every step I took. Egypt held up his fists, ready but a bit at ease. Big mistake to assume that because you are taller than me, I can't kill you, I thought. As I circled him slowly, I analyzed my moves. The first thing to go would be his eye sight, then his lower jaw and throat, then finally I'd knock his ribs in. Any arm movement had to be taken away from him. I couldn't think that I would just kill him. If I was going to survive, I had to get rid of my moral center and finally let my insanity take control. To play with the food before it's devoured. Egypt made the first move. Another mistake that'll soon come into the light. He threw a punch that I swerved. Then an
SL: Training pt 3I made it back to the house and pulled into the garage. As I pulled in, I checked the backseat. The thugs were still out cold from the beating I inflicted on them. A couple of them had gashes where I'd hit them and I also noticed that they were a lot older than I'd thought. They looked to be in their late twenties or early thirties. One even looked to be around forty. Knowing this made things much easier to work with. I got out of the car and took out each one of the guys I'd caught. I used a cable to knot them to the garage wall and making them immovable except for their legs. I made it so that if I needed one of them, I could easily unhook them from the group without untying them all. After they were securely fastened to the wall, I locked the door to the garage and headed upstairs. Before I'd even gotten to the house, Crys came out. She saw me at the bo
Nightmare's FinaleThrough the city he drove, attempting to beat the clock. The video's timer was set to go off in an hour. If he was correct, the main event was to appear in the city. Downtown would be obvious but where? Then it hit him. How else would he do what he had to and keep track of the time? Where it all began. It all made sense now. The clock tower would of course be unguarded and not occupied. He turned a corner and sped down the streets. At least this guy did him a favor, everyone was too scared to come out after the last event.
The streets were silent as a graveyard, the pavement appearing to have never been walked on. Almost ancient. The night air was a cool breeze against the heat of battle. Though there were no people in the streets fighting for some end all reason, there was a battle at hand. As he edged the car closer he thought, how
SL: Training pt2I got in the car and headed out as fast as I could before I could think twice about my plan or before anyone else could stop me. As I pulled out of the parking space, I turned on the radio and tuned in to see what was happening from the time we invaded the conference to now. I began to drive, already feeling the rush before a crazy idea is executed. I knew I'd feel a lot more the closer I got to where I was going. The radio caught my attention before I'd gotten two blocks from the house.
"In a stunning turn of events, the mayor has decided to leave the city for fear of his own safety. However, the city's complete evacuation will not occur until the end of this week. We have confirmed reports that the waves of these infected victims will not reach us until two weeks from now."
I was so in shock I'd almost driven right into traffic. I remembered I was at a red light and hit the breaks. The
SL: Training pt1Ace and Death were already dressed in their workout clothes and I decided to go in a regular t-shirt and sweatpants. Luna changed into a loose shirt and shorts. We all went barefooted, although Luna was against it at first, and headed out to the backyard. Ace brought with him sticks and practice swords. As we got outside, Death and Ace immediately went to work on the practice swords, banging away at each other. Luna and I went a few feet away taking our stances for boxing. Elbows in, knees bent, chin slightly tucked, and eyes locked.
"Ok," I said. "You remember what I taught you?"
"Yep!" she exclaimed, jumping up and down looking like an excited little pixie. I smiled at her thinking of our lessons together. I'd been teaching her how to fight after my brothers would teach me ever since this epidemic began. We would practice with one another and once Luna even went u
